Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury prêtà-porter in a 1966 collection called ‘Rive Gauche’, synonymous with youth and freedom. Launched by the design house of Yves Saint Laurent. Top notes are mandarin orange, blackcurrant and petitgrain. Middle notes are lavender, orange blossom and jasmine. Base notes are Madagascar vanilla, musk, ambergris and cedar.
