Parasite infestations in goats can cause poor digestion, decreased appetite, weight loss, anemia, and potentially death. Safe-Guard® Dewormer for Goats is an oral treatment designed to effectively target and control internal parasites including Barberpole worms (Haemonchus contortus) and Stomach worms (Teladorsagia circumcincta). This suspension contains fenbendazole as the active ingredient and is administered at a dose of 2.3 mL per 100 lbs. of body weight. In cases of ongoing parasite exposure, a follow-up treatment may be necessary after 4 to 6 weeks. Do not use within 6 days of slaughter or in lactating goats, as no milk withdrawal period has been established.
